Sanctuary Addiction and Alcohol Services is committed to monitoring the quality of service provision and is proactive in seeking the views of both its service users and commissioners.

We constantly monitor the retention and completion rates of clients leaving our service and are proud of our excellent record in the number of clients being retained in this service for over twelve weeks and completing treatment drug free. We have developed outcome targets in consultation with commissioners to ensure that the service continues to strive for improvements in this area.

We provide data to the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System on clients entering or leaving our service, and are also working with the local Community Safety and Drug Action Team to provide data on clients entering the North Somerset Region.

Our service has recently been audited against stringent standards, including Quality in Alcohol and Drug Services and elements of the National Minimum Standards for Care Homes; Supporting People Quality Assessment Frameworks; National Treatment Agency Diversity Assessment Package; Drug and Alcohol National Occupational Standards and Standards for Better Health.

We are acting as the pilot study in the new North Somerset Safer Destinations Accreditation Scheme and are delighted with the opportunity this offers for us to demonstrate the quality of our service provision.

Annual reports are compiled on outcomes, including retention and completion statistics, service user and commissioner satisfaction surveys and progress towards strategic objectives. Reports are available on request to any interested parties:
